Hello everyone,

Today was a good day, until the mail came, my mammogram results:
Recent mammography examination is highly suspicious for significant
abnormality that my be cancer........

Like I told the group before, I had an ultrasound 3 weeks prior this
mammogram, who only show fibrocystic disease.

Please, I need some more info, I know I am a pain in the butt.

Thank you.

No you're not any kind of pain. This ng is for all of us.

I suspect that most of us have had this experience, I certainly had a
sinking feeling when I had the letter with a first class stamp after a
mammogram.

My letter didn't even say that it was suspicious, it said that most recalls
weren't significant, that most lumps turned out to be benign. I felt
insulted by that, it was the only other time in all my treatment that I felt
patronised.

Whatever you do, don't hold back from further investigations. The sooner
your 'abmormaility' is dealt with the better.

Mine was more than six years ago ...

Keep posting - please.

Hugs,

Mary
