Chris,
I did monthly faslodex injections for over a year with no side effects.
It's just a pain to go in every month. Have your mother ask her doctor for
some emla cream to numb the area before the shots--the needle is VERY long
and the medicine is really thick--I hear that it hurts A LOT if the area is
not numbed. Good luck.

Can I ask why you stopped the having the injection and did it work when you
were on it?

Yes, it worked for a while keeping my tumor marker under control, but once
it started going up, I switched to Xeloda, which I am on now.
