I need some information from someone with lupus who has had
chemotherapy because of breast cancer, or any type of cancer.  How did
the chemo affect you.  Did your rheumatologist work with your
oncologist on treatment?  Did you require a transfusion of platelets.
Thanks for your help.

I had bc 12 years ago and also have rheumatoid arthritis.  I had chemo CMF
and the methyltrexate in the chemo is one of the drugs that they give you
for rheumo so it was lovely to have a period of remission from the RA.  In
answer to your question there was no contact between my rheumatologist and
oncologist.
