For the last forty years.
Have some kind of allergy or other year round.
Pulmonologist scratched the asthma dx and blamed the drainage.
When i control the drip? -? i have no symptoms.
It was like pulling teeth to get the allergist to come off his asthma
idea.

So what do you use to treat the allgeries?

Did you get all of the normal asthma symptons?

Doc gave me Singular and Allegra..........................didn't do
much.
GP said to try Benadryl at bedtime.?? That works.

I'd cough until i wheezed and then just kept coughing and wheezing.
Since it was only a problem at night, the allergist decided it was
caused by
GERD? -? he guesses a lot.
Had the look-see for GERD and there was no sign of it.
Got lucky that something cheap and OTC solved my problem.

WOW, I am glad benedryl works for you.

I think benedryl is a wonderful drug, but it comes no where
close to treating my allgeries...

If your allergist is missing the mark? -?? try another one.
Have you had all those 'nails in the arm' tests for sensitivity ?
I've had better luck with an ENT than with allergists, because the
drip thing is partly a design issue.

YES!  In fact, a year after my asthma was resolved with antibiotics
(because it was the kind of asthma caused by mycoplasma and chlamydia
pneumoniae), I began having trouble again, which freaked me out.  I
went to my doctor who said the post nasal drip was the culprit and he
switched me from Allegra-D to Zyrtec-D and I got immediate relief.
This is not unheard of, Jamie.
