I've seen lots of Deadhead stickers and lots of Cadillacs. But I've
never seen a Deadhead sticker actually on a Cadillac. Do you think one
really exists, or was Don Henley merely using the line as a metaphor?

I've seen one, also Lexuses and Mercedes.

Anyway, I've always thought it was a metaphor for the non-conformist
(Deadhead) becoming mainstream or "selling out" with the passing of
time.
