Nope.
More likely your better physical condition was the cause of your
improvement, because chronic illnesses result in depression, but not that
med (Ventolin) per se. At least no studies to that effect.

The piont is that most people always have asthma and keep steady regime of
prevention by the way of the use of their inhalers .
Whereas I had a dramatic shift in my Asthma attacks from a regular need to
use my inhalers to no longer needing them at all.
So depressed feelings are either a common thing with some people having
asthma ,why because they are always using their inhalers . They most
probably associate their feelings with the Asthma not the inhaler as I
believe...is the case

I read an article lately that said just that. It was basically warning
doctors that depression was common and under diagnosed in asthmatics. If
you think it is the medicine, see how depressed you would get if you had
nothing to use in an attack - that you were perhaps not going to make it and
you had no help coming.
