Asthma and bronchitis.  I have had asthma since birth and control it
through various medications.  Bronchitis I could not control until
recently.  
I noticed that over the counter Bronkaid, with ephedrine and
Guaifenesin, worked.  I then thought about using the expectorant
Guaifenesin only, in tablet form 400 mg tablets only.  You can buy it
on the web.  I get mine from Kaiser Permanente Southern California.
Best price.  Boy has it helped me cough up the junk in my check.
So unless you have an infection, see the doctor for that, I no longer
take prednisone when having an acute case of bronchitis.
