Oh geeze - forget the previous post, pls.  ERROR!

Why are the lines in my posts so screwed up?  I've tried to
figure this out and can't.  One line will have eight words and
the next only one.  I'm using Outlook Express, but notice this
happens in my email in both Outlook Express and Outlook, too.

Can anyone help me out by telling me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!

It may be a line length issue.

Go to tools -> options -> send tab -> plain text settings.

There will be a box that indicates how many characters per
line before you wrap the text. Try lowering this number.
Most recommend that it be no higher than 72 characters but
you might want to try something in the 60's just to see if
it makes a difference.

Thanks for the heads up.  My settings for both mail and
newsgroups were more than 72, so
that may have been the problem.  I've changed both of them to
mid-60s and will see if that
helps.

I can network computers together and swap modems, network, video
and sound cards, but
I don't know basic email settings.  Sheeeeeesh.

No, that doesn't look like the answer.  Maybe I should just keep
typing on the line and stop hitting the enter key before I need
to?  This is frustrating, for such a small problem.

The hard return (hitting enter) may indeed be the problem.
It sends a different signal to your composer, as
if you were starting a new topic line.

Thanks, Blues Ma.  I think it was a combination of not having the
correct settings in Outlook and Outlook Express for email and
newsgroups AND hitting the enter key before getting to the end of
the line.  I'm typing this one to the end of the line and letting
the system take me to the next line, as I did in the last message
I posted yesterday.  I think those two things are the answer to
my mess here.

Thanks!
