What does this mean, Pete? As someone who began posting here before you did -
as an asthmatic - and now someone who visits the newsgroup from time to time as
a former asthmatic, I have no clue what you're talking about. I really see no
connection between my post and Colins whereabouts.

Excuse me? "What does this mean?"... I would hope precisely what I wrote -
and, would be understood (by most a.s.a regulars) as referring to the fact
that the original post would have been followed in short order, with Colin's
usual zeal, on a "point of order" ....
Any, what has when one started posting to this newsgroup go to do with
anything? But as you find it so bothersome our first posts according to
Google (in our current incarnations):

No doubt you previously had a different "nom de plume" prior to that. Well
so did I, and on checking, I go back to about 1996. Good enough?
Who said I was a FORMER asthmatic?
If you have no clue what I'm talking about, or what it has with Colin being
temporarily indisposed in the duty of his Country - it would seem that we
have very little in common - other than our asthma. So its not all bad news
then :o)

PS: miss-read who was the "former" asthmatic. Oops!
