Over the past 10 weeks I have these episodes where my back and arms feel
like they are being stuck with thousands of pins.  It is very painful.
After the worst of these attacks, I have flat red dots on the underside
of my arms and a constriction in my chest that causes a wheezing. They
are triggered mostly by heat,I now have my air conditioner on when its
30 degrees outside,  but also are caused by being startled, or any
activity that causes any adrenaline reaction.  I get them a lot when I
sleep and always when I shower or laugh or cough, usually they go away
if I crank up the air conditioner.

About half an hour ago I tried to lift weights.  My whole body turned
bright red.  I started wheezing and coughing up mucus.  My whole body
itched.  I had to lay on bed bed for 15 minutes and gradually I the
wheezin and itch have lessened although they haven't disappeared. My
arms were covered in tiny red bumps and I have welts on my neck.

I would advise that you explore the possibilities with your doctor.

It could be exercise-induced anaphylaxis. Check with a doctor.

See your doctor ASAP.

It's a terrible responsibility - but somebody has to be the Americans.

The other's are right - you need to see your doctor (and
probably be referred to an allergist).

It is probably something fairly non-serious like an allergy
or something called "benign cutaneous flushing". It could
also be more serious things like certain cancers (like
carcinoid syndrome or systemic mastocytosis).
