My 3 yr old daughter was brought to the doctors thursday at 1230 pm.
Doctor rushed her to the e.r for some test so we could have the results
first thing in the morning. i called the doctor first thing Friday
morning. no results yet, called again at 1245 before their lunch. they
didn't call to see what was going on her results. now my daughter is a
severe asthmatic and has been coughing for days having attacks after
each cough spell. my doctor was testing for pneumonia or viral.  when i
called back again after the 1245 call and them saying "oh maybe we
should call to see whats going on" so i call back again at 300 pm now
they are gone till monday. well 200 am my daughter was rushed by
ambulance to the e.r for a severe attack. oxygen was way down. she has
some kind of cold which is giving her the cough. so the doctor at the
e.r gave her some.antibiotics and a cough syrup for her cough. which my
doctor says we don't give to asthma ppl.which the doctor in the e.r
didn't understand.im just wondering if you were in the same position as
me would you be looking for a new doctor? come monday morning after
giving your say to the doctor. my problem is tho im a single mom who has
state insurance because my jobs insurance is to expensive for both of
us. so i dont have any and she has state but allot of doctors wont take
it. so what do i do now im in a big bind ugggh someone tell me what they
would do plzzzzzz

Sounds like both you and your daughter had a hard weekend.

I would suggest talking with your Doctor about the breakdown in
communication between his office and you first. See how he handles the
situation so that his patient is taken care of. If after talking to him
you don't feel a continued 'trust', then you have answered your own
question.

I hope your daughter improves quickly.
