Hi,

I'm just recovering from a asthma attack a few days ago, this was brought on
by a chest infection, however I have now been coughing for 3 weeks and
cannot seem to stop it or control it, any tips on how to stop coughing or
control my breathing, my chest fills like its full-up with something (mucus)
and I just can't seem to get rid of it.

cheers

Linda

You might try getting a nebulizer with Alibuterol.  I have had
coughing spells in the past and this seems like it really helped
reduce the inflamation and mucus secretions which helped me stop
coughing.

Thanks for the advice, I was put on one of these after my asthma attack, in
hospital, have since been back to see my doctor and he's now put me on
steriod tablets and have been given another type of inhaler, (purple
coloured one), so now using two inhalers plus more tablets, have never
experienced asthma as bad as this before.
