Hi

I was wondering- If you were ever hospitalized for your asthma and
given a puffer while in-hospital... Did you get to take that puffer
home with you when you were discharged?

thanks!

Some hospitals send the inhalers home with the patient and some don't. A lot
of it depends on the mix of insurances they see.

Thanks for responding...
My understanding is that nursing staff, recogniing that a returned
canister would simply be thrown away by the hospital, would likely
encourage patients to take their MDIs home with them...
