six months is bullshit
Most decent filters emit cleaner air from less then a month to maybe 3
months from the time of change. I am being very liberal too, because some
researchers think they do no good.
My asthma increases exactly as the increase in particulate pollutiona dn
sometimes ozone. When the air is no longer in my room I feel the affects
immediately. First off even when new they don't get all the pollution up ,
second like I stated before, their effectiveness is highly exaggerated.
except in giant retail and business establishments that can afford a certain
type of filter...I

Don't go there mcs. I have spent$120 for my filter and it is.....helping.
Claims of works for him are probably worthless for you in my experience.
Some people just know it all.

As for air filters ,, effectivness anyone can look up the studies on the
net. I think they have a very minimal impact but thats only the ones I have
tried. Furnance filters also have minimal impact but do accumulate allot of
dirt. Accumulation of dirt is one way.. ah.. I am giving out free
information to people who don't want it. You want it write me.. I will tell
you why air filters works,, why some air filter systems work and where they
are . and even why some filters collect dirt but don't protect people in the
long run. I can give you stats which cities I have been are cleanest, has
lower accumulation of dirt,, has fewer asthma cases and people are healthier
and so on . Mcsantpollution@yahoo.com
