I live in SWC Texas and am trying to keep an upper hand on any
mold, mildew, etc. Has anyone on this group tried using the spraybottle
products that are found on the allergy products webpages, that has a
preventative for six months. It is supposed to be non-toxic,odor free.

We live in a 40 yr old house and am doing things to help prevent the
asthma, Hepa in rooms, regular vacumning and dusting-using the handled
"Swifter" disposible dusters.

On the peak flow meters---what is the time element that you use when
taking the first pkflo reading time until you take the next reading.
One minute or 15 min. Also, do you need to have the pkflo reader
instrument checked for new readings from the old at times and adjusted
through the years of your asthma treatments?

Michelle you might get yourself a dehumidifier. More than one if you
have a damp basement as well as damp rooms.

Sears has 'em (Kenmore) for a little less than two hundred dollars.

Amazing how much water mine pulls out of the air in my apartment in
rainy or humid weather.  Sometimes forty pints in a day and a
half.---Jack
