Sorry everyone for abusing this group.

I just had a though about electronic diaries. Instead of writing long
elaboborate misery stories every day about how one wakes up with chest
tightness, chest pain etc, wouldn't it be easier to answer a
questionarrie of ~5 basic symptoms (PEF, titghness, shortness of
breath, mucus, etc) every 2 hrs on a 0 to 9 scale? Put this proggy on
PDA and make the PDA beep every 2 hrs or so, reminding to do the diary
thing.

I find that it would be easier for the physician and the patient to
interpet this type of data and to correlate it with other available
data. What do you think?

I was reading about a "recording" device they are testing to evaluate the
chronic coughers. I should go back to find that after I get some time.
