CFC free inhalers WTF

Yo, WTF is going on!!? Pharmacy says they only got the CFC free inhalers
and that's ALL that's going to be available after a certain date! WHAT THE
HELL!! Those things do NOT help my asthma, in fact they make it worse!!
Where can I get a real inhaler? How can I fight this?

Can you use a Nebulizer? There are some small, hand held models out there
now that run off batteries or car batteries. The Omron models is quite
popular I understand for people with CF that I know.

would need a prescription for that type of albuterol of course. They aren't
all that expensive any longer.

They're much more expensive than an inhaler, as is the solution. And the
solution expires much more quickly than the inhalers. :( I dunno what the
heck the FDA is thinking on this!

Actually, it was EPA.

I know one asthmatic in my area who did try the nebulizer form so that the
doctor could eliminate the possibility that the problem was she was allergic
to the "other" components of the inhaler. Don't you think it is worth
trying? At least then you would know.
