It seems that I am better after about 8 or 9 nebulizer treatments. I
am using alibuterol in the misting chamber. I was having a lot of
problems with excessive mucus secretion from my sinuses and bronchial
tubes. Plus, I was having a chronic bronchial itch. There was a
slight amout of obstruction causing a wheeze. My bronchial tubes are
very much open now with no sound of any wheeze. The mucus flow has
become very slight - a considerable decrease from where I was almost
drowning in secretions. When I saw the doctor a couple of weeks ago, I
told him that I wanted to work on getting treatments for the conatant
mucus secretions. I don't know exactly what is causing or triggering
these bouts of mucus secretion but I just wanted some relief from the
symptoms. I seem to be having some success in my goal. The nebulizer
treatments are very sooting. The secretions will stop and it gives my
respiratory passages some time to heal.

8 or 9 albuterol treatments? - Over how long a period of ime?
Have you tried just putting saline in to see if it is the mist and not the
med?

I have been using saline for years. It is the med. It does attack the
symptoms. I have used it for about 1 1/2 weeks.
