Hi

Went to the doctors tonight because my cough still hasnt cleared, he
listened to my chest and my back and said that there was a weeze there, he
then went on to ask me if I was astmatic, I said that I had a clear run for
a couple of years without my inhalors but recently felt a little weezy. He
thinks the cough is asthma related but is this normal, i'm coughing up a
little flem when I cough but do feel rather weexy with the cough, it's much
worse when I lay down (the weeze) and I also wake up coughing at night for a
few minutes at a time before falling back to sleep. The doctor has put me on
Becotide which I have to take morning and night, 2 puffs at a time and then
he has also stuck me on ventolin evohaler which I take when necersary.

The Becotide should help, it will reduce inflamation and lower your
breathing rate
A good idea is to breathe through your nose all the time, this will
lower the volume of air you breathe and warm up and put moisture in to
the air which will stop the air friction and drying up the linning of
your lungs and the mucous

If you have coughing fits I have an exercise to help reduce them
