yes, but do you realize one in five kids in NE states has asthma in some
places? They didn't have anything wrong with em.... the trees are dying
here, in droves, I automatically can't breath in moderate particulates, and
our news says polluted days are beautiful and their commericals are paid for
by 34 different companies that tout drugs to treat you after they poison
you. If you think the goal for people to have jobs at poisoning the planet
and expense is business as it should be, better guess again or volunteer to
take our place while we live in Hawaii or at the ranch far away from
motorists and crime...
The stats say pollution kills and I say its underreported of the dangers.
When I first started people said I was crazy , global warming isn't true.
Guess what , if people knew that the biggest single reason for illness when
everything else like diet and addictions were the same is pollution, people
might be singing a different tune.

why do I say or blame Bush and Johnson?> Because we have the money , resolve

it does seem extremely unfair with govt not protecting everyone equally. I
find it a hard reach to worry about spinanch and not worry about the cancers
and heart disease and respiratory illness caused by pollution , and some
more then others.

which parts do you disagree with exactly? Since you don't read em . Didn't

Nah, they're all the same. This is the one case where a sweeping generality
is appropriate--a response in kind.

I think that she is getting at: If you've read one of your diatribes,
you've read them all. And that in your case, lol stands for "Lack of

As if to put an exclamation point on my "lucidity" comment...

I'm starting to believe that in this case, lol is more an acronym for "low

there is a giant support for medications (lets say over 1 billion in
medication to treat asthma ) here instead of people moving to clean air
state. Too much information about the dangers of air pollution get some
people unsettled, especially if they claim they don't read my posts.I wonder
if drug companies or Dr. visists have something to do with it. Personal
attacks without referring to a idea is the same lame brain tactics used to
counter the people who oppose the status quo in the middle east or global
warming debate. But in case this gets the message out there here is the
stuff that makes you not read my posts ; lol

more studies needed ? Its one thing to not know, its another to poison
people who thru no fault of their own is going to suffer the consequences
from Bush and Johnsons actions . Johnson of epa claims he needs to adjust
pollution to sweet points. But his idea of sweet point is completely against
the advice of most of the people who work on this issue all day and night.
that work under him. Seems strange that a director appointed by Bush would
default at a point that many say will kill and harm millions of people.
Sweet points
already producing warnings for many people to limit activity on the epas

Through the 60's to the 80's people were moving to the southwest states.
They were said to be better for asthmatics. Today those states are
now said to be horrible for asthmatics. People can't keep moving around
chasing the ideal place that keeps changing itself.

Well Miles, Can't and Won't are two different issues but you make a good
point. I am in same boat, its extremely difficult to move especially to the
larger places with good air because of high rents and mortgage. When I first
wrote about this I feared I was sabotaging my own ability to find affordable
housing, but alas I live for a bigger issues then myself. I hope I have
helped other people monitor pollution or think of this when they get asthma
or other conditions.
Incidentally any area might ultimately change in air rating based on the
current research and amount of traffic, but some areas are blessed because
of geography and no matter what happens, will always be good. I am not sure
many would want to live in some of these place but don't say never. The
southwest has seen a different definition of pollution rise in past ten
years allot of due to dry conditon and stagnant air which contributes to
blowing dust particuates but I think overall better then where I am in NE.
