re: asthmastory.com

One week Maureen was asking us to keep her posted on our progress and
the next a message is posted at the top of the forums to say it has
been shut down permanently.

Can these be because of the new studies they are conducting? I think
you can still read the forums but can't post messages any longer. That
could change though.

I'm a bit disappointed as I was going to start posting my progress week
by week on the Zithromax as soon as I end my Cipro for another
infection.

Which surprisingly has cleared up much of my asthma already so I am
eager to try the Zithro next.

Melanie, nobody was more surprised than me (Maureen).  I'm upset
that so many people were left hanging without any warning, and
I've asked that my name be removed from there.

I will continue to support people by emailing studies, answering
questions and trying to find doctors for people.  Right now, this
will have to be done via email, while I consider other options,
so please note my email address.  Unfortunately, I have no way of
contacting anyone else who posted there, and I feel just awful
that they've had the rug pulled out from under them.

I didn't realize that was you.

I'll keep you updated.

Melanie, I feel awful that I can't inform anyone left hanging on
the asthmastory site, but I have started a yahoo group for
Infectious Asthma here that you can join for your updates:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/infectious_asthma/

Links to studies, articles and other documents can be found
there, as well.
