I just watched the news tonight.  Apparently there are some large
forrest fires in Montana and some of the near by states.  We have very
hazy weather.  The weatherman on channel 4 news said that it is due to
all the soot that is decending from these fires.  My bronchial tubes
are really itching and mucus is flowing again.  This is the same thing
that happened when we had the Hayman fire - a massive forrest fire in
the south of Colorado back in June of 2002.  I was pretty sick then.  I
guess I will just have to live with it the best that I can.

CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY COLORDADO IS A GOOD PLACE TO BE IF YOUR CONCERNED
ABOUT AIR POLLUTANTS. HOW ABOUT IF YOU HAD TO GET MODERATE AMOUNTS OF
PARTICULATES EVERYDAY WHICH COLORADO RESIDENTS USUALLY DON'T. THE SAD FACTS
ARE MANY DO AND CAN'T AFFORD TO MOVE AND ARE DISABLED BY ASTHMA . YOU SHOULD
SEE THE POLLUNTANTS COLLECTED IN MY AIR FILTER AFTER THREE WEEEKS. WHAT
HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE DON'T HAVE AIR FILTERS AND COLLECTES THIS IN THEIR LUNGS
FOR 20 YEARS?

It is depending on what part of Colorado you live in.  I lived off the
interstate for one year.  The cars in that area were grinding up what
was on the roads to the consistance of pm-10.  These small particles of
mainly silica would lodge in your lungs and really cause some serious
lung problems.  I would go jogging in the morning and then really have
lung problems for the next 3 hours.  When we have these wildfire
problems, we have a lot of people going to National Jewish Hospital for
lung problems.  I am seriously thinking of getting an air filter.
Sounds like they really work.
