Weird  Cold

I have mild asthma, at worst annoying attacks.  For the last 2 weeks I have
had chest cold-like symptoms, sneezing and heavy coughing.  The weird thing
is that it almost stops after being outside for any length of time.  Inside
closed doors it can get pretty bad.  At work we have semi-sized garage doors
open at both ends and get good airflow after the wind picks up some by
mid-morning.  Early at work I have some runny nose problems, which taper off
after the wind picks up.  I have problems in the car, at the store, etc.  As
soon as I get outside it clears up almost entirely.  Starting Friday I
started taking Singulair and the condition has improved significantly.  Has
anybody had similar symptoms with asthma or allergies?

Do you have problems at home too?  Could it be a time-of-day problem
rather than an out-of-doors problem?  I'm thinking that you are more
likely to be outdoors in the middle of the day, which might be your
best time for allergies for some reason.

I have a similar problem at work with the air conditioning. Not so much
at the mall but they keep that place warmer. I am better these past few
days because the temperature has dropped and it's more a mix of heat
and air now than just air. I have no idea if it's poor air quality and
something do with the air conditioning part of the system as opposed to
the heating part. We also have a loading bay but it's about 80 feet
from me on the other side of the building and behind a door. (see my
other post in this group)

I want to try Singulair, but am hesistant to go to the useless doctor I
went to last time round, who'd probably nix all my ideas again.

Outside in the evening on weekdays and morning on Saturday.  On Saturday and
Sunday I was in and out.  When I went inside, either at home or in a store,
it got bad, and within minutes of going outside it got better.  Last few
days have been good.  I suspecdt some combination of allergies to something
indoor and a common cold aggrevated by the allergy.?
