I am not familiar with that particular unit.
If you are looking at one, get your LOCAL HVAC contractor to recommend
one. In fact have several quote you. They go in quickly, a couple
hours, dont use much power.
I had a unit on my furnace/A.C. unit a few years ago. It worked pretty
well but it took more than annual maintenence. PERSONALLY, I didn't
think it was any better than the best element filter.
After a year or so my power pack gave up the ghost, so I decided not to
bother with it.
I recommmend you get one which fits on the furnace intake in place of a
large element filter. My rationale is that if you dont like the
performance, you can buy the large whole house filter cartridge and
slip it in place to eliminate the electronic.
Mine was about 4 inches thick and the filter lasted for nearly a year
before replacement.
You can also do this if you move, thus taking it with you.
The newer electronics may be better than mine was, but the HEPA house
filters are very good.
What I use here is the 3M highest rated filters, MERV 11 rated, and
tape it all around to preclude any leakage. I run it when we vacuum or
dust.
It works great for me. Remember, the dirtier it gets, the better it
works.(as long as it is not plugged).
Best regards.

For me, it's not the filter or dust, it's the cold air, period. I got
really sick the other day when
I fell asleep with the AC on. It's a major trigger for me.
Another one is leaving a window open at night, even during the summer.
I sleep under several warm blankets year round.
I don't have asthma, but bronchitis (mild) and I have been warned that
if not
careful, it can turn into asthma.
