> Is alcohol of any use in managing asthma?
Yes, please try to use it full-strength, intravenously.
Hmm. This user only sent this question to one newsgroup. There is an
outside chance that this might be a serious question.
When I input alcohol asthma into Yahoo search, the first result I found was
asthma.about.com/od/asthmafaq/f/asthmaalcohol.htm . The title given for
this page is "Can Alcohol Cause an Asthma Attack?"
Alcohol is a depressant. I presume that when it works on the breathing
passages, it acts as a bronchoconstrictor rather than a bronchodilator.
This is not the direction you want if you are an asthmatic.
