I am 58 years old and have a history of asthma for years. I am on three
inhalers and a daily pill. A month ago, I wound up in hospital with kidney
stones. Two visits on two successive nights. I was put on morphine and carry
a prescription with me.
Since leaving hospital and couple of days on morphine, my asthma has
lessened by about 90%. Use my blue inhaler six to eight times a week,
compared to three times a day. No daily pill and the rest of my inhalers
have not been used.
Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks.

I was given morphine a while back but didn't notice any improvement
in asthma. I did notice a temporary improvement in asthma when I
was given a 1-week course of zithromax for a chest infection, though.
Did you get any antibiotics in hospital?
What was the daily pill you were taking?
