So from what I understand, hyper-active airways disease if not as
serious as asthma, correct?
I'm getting better, after the pneumonia, but still feel the need to use
my Symbicort once a day or every 48 hours.
I have a specialist appointment at the end of the month. I hope by then
I am cured. LOL
I'll be taking in the articles from asthastory.com
I hope I don't need 12 weeks of antibiotics. Oh wait, I HAD that
already. LOL Just not the ones recommended.
I bought an air purifier and it seems to help, but hard to get used to
the cool dry air. I'll be glad when the damn pollen settles down.

If you need the 12 weeks, it will be only once a week though,
after a three day jumpstart. Not that bad. Post at
asthmastory.com if you have any questions about that part of it.

She could post to both.

Or folks could just stop by asthmastory.com and read for
themselves, so she's not having to double post.

Asthma is a chronic, sometimes intermittent, condition. When a person
has something that seems for all the world to be asthma but they are
not ready to yet assign a chronic diagnosis (which may have
implications far down the road like insurance coverage) they assign the
RAD diagnosis. You see it a lot in kids who may still grow out of it
and in people who are wheezing after some acute insult like chemical
inhalation or infection.
It is basically the same as asthma except for the hope that it may go
away in the not too distant future.
