Over the last week or so I have suddenly been seeing a lot of flu. I'm
not sure why it is just hitting here so late but it is. The problem is
that the older meds aren't effective against the viruses that are
circulating this year and so the only effective options are Tamiflu and
Relenza (Relenza is contraindicated in asthma).
Of course, due to hoarding earlier in the season over fear of bird flu
the pharmacies can't get the Tamiflu and the Relenza so we are now
seeing real flu patients and they can't find the meds.
This is just to say thanks to all you jerks who were advocating
hoarding Tamiflu "just in case".

Not I. That's terrible. I hate the hoard mentality.
I hope you'll post this in the sinusitis group, too. Based on
this thread, they didn't help matters.

Go to the health food store and pick a box of of of oscillococnium,
"oscillio" for short. Works a lot better than Tamiflu. It's from France
and is huge in Europe. It is homeopathic medicine but it does wonders
with the flu.

Funny, but I wonder if oscillococnium has any benefits for ED...

Don't you know about HOMEOPATHIC?
Do read up on this philosophy of medicine. Otherwise, without a doubt,
you'l be subject to gentle and other derision if you keep posting here.
