After switching to Brycanol & Symbicort, I am not back on Ventolin and
Becotide inhalers again.

Can anybody remind me what the instructions are for using one of those huge
clear perspex volumiser things? Eg. If you are taking two puppes, do you put
both puffs into it? And how long should you wait before breathing? And how
long do you breath for?

Thanks - Keith

Separate inhales for each puff.

Volumisers?  We call 'em "Spacers".

Thanks - and how long to I wait before sucking in a breath from one after
the puff? And also how long do I inhale from it for?

Thanks - Keith

How long after the puff before you inhale?
Up to you.  I start inhaling (from empty lungs) on the puff or shortly
after.  But you'll notice your volumiser stays misty for a few seconds,
so that should be ok, right?

They always say to hold it in for ten or twelve seconds. I can't really
do that without straining, so I do a little less.
