I made my asthma breakthrough when I found my Hidden Food
Sensitivities (allergies) and stopped having asthma attacks,
permanently. I found out that dairy products and corn were triggering
my asthma, eczema, fatigue, and joint pain.
Hidden Food Sensitivities can trigger asthma, eczema, psoriasis,
fatigue, migraines, and many other health problems. The Pharmaceutical
Industry is doing everything that it can to stop research into Hidden
Food Allergies. Several doctors have written books about this. Try,
"Dr. Braly's Food Allergy and Nutrition Revolution", or "Food Allergies
and Food Intolerance" by Dr. Jonathan Brostoff. You might be able to
find them at the public library.
Food Sensitivities can take days to trigger a reaction after you
eat a food. I never realized all the corn that I was getting in my diet
(High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Starch, Distilled Vinegar, MSG, etc.).
Corn (in the form of additives) is in 99% of processed foods. This is
why I was never able to make the connection between corn and my health
problems. This happens to many people. The same goes for wheat, dairy,
soy, and many other foods.
An alternative doctor (www.acam.org) or a naturopathic doctor (Yellow
Pages) can show you how to find your problem foods. When I removed my
problem foods, my energy level skyrocketed. My skin started to look
much healthier also. I now shop at health food stores, but I feel much
better. I can eat corn and dairy products now, but I can only have them
every four days. I even sleep better. This is better than drugs. There
are no side effects too. Look into this.

Be wary of agendas. This sounds more like an advertisement to me than a
"testimonial" BTW, anecdotes and testimonials are the worst kind of
advice you can get. Talk to a real doctor who is board certified in
pulmonary medicine or in allergy/immunology.
I also have an agenda. I would like to get the quacks off the internet
and especially off the tv infomercials.

How could this be an advertisement. I practically got rid of my
asthma myself. I read some books at the library that told me that the
foods that you crave the most may be triggering your asthma, and some
other health problems. I quickly realized that I constantly had dairy
products. I stopped having dairy, and I haven't had an asthma attack
since. Some people have a problem with wheat, some people have a
problem with soy, or whatever food. You may not realize it because the
symptoms can happen days after you eat the food. Food sensitivities can
also work in combination with dust or stress to produce your asthma
symptoms. Where is the sales pitch?

Good luck with that.
