A recent study has revealed that inner-city asthmatic kids have higher
rates of food allergies than other socioeconomic groups. The study did
not necessarily involve ALL types of food sensitivities. Food
intolerances may not have been included in the study. I first read
about the study in a newsletter published by the Food Allergy and
Anaphylaxis Network. They can tell you who conducted the study. If you
have asthma, maybe you should ask a naturopathic doctor how to properly
look for food sensitivities. Delayed food sensitivities may be
triggering your asthma without you realizing it?

All asthmatics have higher rates of all allergies.

Apparently, you don't read too well. I wrote that they have higher
rates of food allergies than ALL other socioeconomic groups.

Asthma is not a socioeconomic group.

Last I checked food allergies were still allergies.

Yes, but what of the dreaded intolerances?  ;-)

Conventional medicine wants to pretend that food intolerances
hardly exist. Everybody wants to do crappy research on food
intolerances, but nobody wants to do research on food intolerances in
the way that it needs to be researched. This is why I see a
naturopathic doctor and an alternative doctor.

Let me guess - you make less than $14,000 and still live at home?
Brad_Chad - 18 Aug 2005 05:50 GMT
I (Brad_Chad) make a lot more than $14,000 a year, and I am a
homeowner.

Inner-city kids were the socioeconomic group that I was talking about.
