I've just started researching the Ozone levels in Dallas. Although
I've experienced allergies over the past 15 years, I'm at the point of
needing to do something because the side effects are causing lose of
sleep and inability to do my job anymore.
I live in dallas and read about ozone and sure enough, when ozone is
high, my sleep deprivation is equally as high along with other classic
symptoms. I want to get something that can filter out the ozone in my
home and started reading about ozone machines that are used to kill
bacteria and such. Do these devices *generate* ozone to kill bacteria?
If so, I would think I would be making the situation worse. Is there
a machine to filter out the ozone? Is this really what I need?
Any help and insight would be appreciated.

I use a HEPA filter machine and keep my apartment reasonably sealed off
from the outside air on days of pollution.
Does the HEPA filter out ozone? I doubt it.
BTW forget about the ozone generating "air purifying" machines.
(Sharper Image and others) Amazing the law allows them to be
peddled.---Jack
