Hello all I have an update::::: Well It's been 18 days since I was
released from the hospital after a 7 day stay ...The I D doc had me taking
zyvox, avalox and medrol by I V all 7 days...So 18 days and going strong
seems the asthma is gone so I guess I had a bacteria infection these last 4
years that was missed somehow.......7 different doctors over the years throw
in the bean counter at the insurance company to further muddy the waters and
I end up being treated for the symptoms of asthma and not the bacterial
infection........what a crock. I still fail to understand how soooo many
DR's and tests let me down.........any way its over now at least the lung
part....I will have a sinus cleanout tomorrow and am hoping that also will
subside............Mahalo Michael

The infection that most people here talk about probably would not
respond to fast.
There is still a good chance that the steroids you took had a lot to do
with it even though you are now off of them.
Time will tell.

Michael,
I think there are a couple of things going on there. One is the antibiotic
resistance issue and the other possible side effects of antibiotics and the
other is the fact that there really isn't a reliable test. I have read they
are working on one.
