Please Help
I own the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze,
but need to get rid of it, because it creates so much AM radio interference
(even down the hall) I can't listen to AM radio anymore.

Because of Asthma, we have to use an Air Purifier
The Ionic Breeze does seem to help,
but I need it to replace it with something that won't create
the Major AM Radio Interference that the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze does.

The requirements are this.
1. it must Clean at least as well as the Ionic Breeze ( this should be easy)
2, It must be Very Quiet (this will be harder to match)
3. It Can't cause Major AM Radio Interference.
4. it should be fairly economical to run ( I hope)
5. it should be fairly inexpensive to buy.
6. If your ownly recommendation is a whole house system,  which one is
cheapest?

Thanks in advance

Turn it off!

That thing generates ozone witch is the last thing your lungs need!

No air cleaner at all is better than exposing yourself to ozone.

My advice is to get your self a HEPA air filter.  Yes they are
expensive and cost more to run, but they are the 'gold standard' in
indoor air cleaning.

That was barry, who has had the courtesy to refrain from spamming for quite
a while.  We still get some of the air cleaner hucksters, but everyone
recognizes them for the scammers that they are.  It's amazing (well not
really, considering their advertising budget) that the Ionic Breeze still
finds its way into the homes of people with respiratory problems.

I'm around.  Mostly lurking though.

Actually, the ironic breeze is doing more harm then good to your asthma.  I
posted an url earlier in referrence to ironic (i know, ionic) breeze
machines can actually do more damage then good to those with asthma or other
forms of lung diseases. You need an air purifier because it is what works
and is better then nothing.
There are many great air purifiers on the market.  The size of an air
purifier in consideration of the cycles of air it will clean is what counts
the most.  And please, do not use the ionizing feature as some come with
this option.  Ozone does damage to lungs and ionizer produce ozone.  Find a
big bridge and send the ionizer bye-byes.
NOTHING is better then an ionizer.  It does more then ruin radio reception.
It has been proved to help ruin your already fragile lungs.
