OMG JACK!!!!!!

I never, ever thought they would get this approved!! Wow.  I was in the
testing group for this at least 4 or 5 years ago.  I don't believe it.

Now I have to figure out how to get it, LOL.  What freaking awesome
news, especially since I've been freaking wheezing for the last 3 days
with this wacky weather.  What an amazing thing!!

Mometasone is the only inhaler that I have ever taken that has gotten me
totally, 100% off prednisone. If I remember correctly, it was a twice a
day inhaler like Advair and it worked well for me.  My body tends to
take a lot of time to adapt to new medications - it also took a long
time for Advair to work as well as it has.  After about 6 months, I was
prednisone free.  I was heartbroken when that study ended. I didn't have
any side effects that I can recall, and to be fair, I don't really have
any with Advair.  I have no problems with Advair except that I'm still
on prednisone.  We tried going down to 3mg but I started wheezing, so we
are right now at 3.75 and holding.  I know it doesn't sound like a lot,
but I've been taking prednisone for YEARS.  I can't wait for this
Asmanex to come out so I can finally get off the "juice", LOL.
