Magnetic Report #23 - brought to you by The Pain Relievers

"One exceedingly important medical use of electromagnetism is with the
destruction of certain cancer cells. Since our topic is pain relief, we do
not intend to probe into this area in too much depth, but we want to touch
on it for two reasons. The first is that in the field of cancer cell
destruction, we have the best example of electromagnetism and permanent
magnetism both having a similar beneficial effect. Of course, this does not
mean that the two forces work in the same way or with the same degree of
efficacy. It does, however, provide another hint that the dramatic effects
of electromagnetic therapy, as proved by copious research (only a small
portion of which we have summarized here), may to some extent be shared by
permanent magnetic therapy. Our second reason for touching on this subject
is that it shows yet again how very powerful a tool magnetic therapy can be.
As far back as 1961, Iudumati Mulay and L. N. Mulay of the University of
Cincinnati reported in the prestigious British Journal Nature that they had
conducted a controlled experiment involving a permanent magnet and mouse
tumour cells. Slides of tumour cells placed between the poles of a magnet
with the strength about 4,000 gauss showed "complete degeneration" after 18
hours; identical cells not exposed to the magnetism showed normal growth.
The researchers repeated the experiment several times with the same
results.*"

>>Tumour Cells," Nature, June 10, 1961, 1019.

remember folks - from the site of this spammer it says:
