I tried Ultracet in replacement of Percocets. Tried it for 2 weeks, no relief.
I tried it out, because my doc asked me to. Today my doc precribed a months
worth of Oxycontin CR 10 mg. Taken twice daily. Its a controlled release med.
The Ultracets did not work at all.

The Percocets were not working any longer. I was taking 2 at a time for relief.
I did not hesitate to bring this to my doc. I have a understanding one. I want
what is the best for me too. Don't want to keep taking too much of a med that
is no longer working.

When not taking the percocets, I did not crave them. I did not go crazy because
I did not have them to take. So.. no addiction there. I just dealt with the
pain.  Though I do realize there are the addictive types out there.

What bothers me some is that I keep working my way up to stronger and stronger
pain meds. I would guess that its because my body is building a intolerance
up..?Something like that?

Not sure how the oxycontin will work. I hope it does. I am in alot of pain from
Fibro, the neck and back injuries, the painful legs, and then bladder spasms.

I just hope the pain gets better with the neurosurgeons help. Surgery if I have
to. I keep hoping the pain gets under control one day. I don't want to keep
building up to these stronger meds.

I tried these new Oxycontins and yep they're bout the exact same
thing, IT sucks that they're not much cheaper than the purdue's. I
found a place online that sells the original oxy's....and I still have
three refills left with them but after that I'll prob be gettin the
generics. Anyone else know anything important about these new pills?
Why the hell are these things so expensive?
