It has been three weeks since I had my hip resurfaced.  Truely amazing.  On
two occassions I actually got out of a chair and took a few steps before I
realized I forgot my crutches.

I am driving and even walking with just one crutch (if I have to carry
something in the other  hand).

Sure beats the way it felt before the surgery.  I have to go in for the four
week exam next week and then PT for a month.

Truely amazing.

I recently was told about HIP RESURFACING by my pain management doc.
I just wonder how long resurfacing is expected to last, under normal
conditions
(like not being a marathon runner, etc...which I am not)

I must decide something soon as the pain is becoming unbearable and
I am so tired of using the little electric scooters in Walmart and
grocery stores-
altho' I am thankful for them.

tks
