Hi all, I have just found this chat page and looking forward to sharing my
experiances with you and hearing your advice and experiances also. Im 33 and
have had RA for nearly 2 years but my mum has had RA since she was 26 so I
sort of have had it all my life im just experiancing the pain now. :- )))))
Im also trying to get pregnant so I can only take prednisone which only
does half a job but am unable to take anti inflamatories as it causes
problems falling pregnant.
I would love to hear from anyone in this or has been in this, situation.

news:alt.support.arthritis   is a good place to start in talking to others
that have been there with you.

Hello Susan.
I too have RA and went into compleat remission during pregnancy.  My
Rhumy said while cancer during pregnancy is "an excellerator" That RA
is quieted by the pregnancy and sometimes stays that way.  Mine did
come back with a vengance but I was RA free for the very first time in
my life during pregnancy!  As God as my witness.

Hi Teresa
I just hope to get pregnant then hope for the remission.  did you have many
troubles getting pregnant with the meds you were on?
greenknees - 06 Oct 2005 20:37 GMT
Luckely then I wasn't on any serious meds.  Just some cortizone knee
injections at that time.

Hi Susan!!  This might be the wrong choice of words, but it's so nice to
know there is someone else out there!!  I was beginning to think I was all
alone.

I'm 33 (in 15 days??!!) and have been married for 18 months.  I live in
Derby and have been TTC for a year - with no luck :-(

I'm taking Celecoxib and my consultant has told me I can keep on taking it
safely until I get a +ve pg test.

Feel free to e-mail me!!

Sarah
