[quoted text clipped - 3 lines] > > kate DeeTee and Bob Taggart - 24 Jan 2006 14:05 GMT Well - I kinda have a RD here who doesn't want to be bothered. He felt my hands and that was it. He's ordered blood tests for every three months, has renewed my prescriptions and I have yet to hear anything from him. I'm seriously considering trying for a different doctor. Oh - he also said he didn't think I had anything except severe fibromyalgia and that they were finding that fibromyalgia could now affect the joints. Yeah, that was a wasted visit.
On the other hand, I'm going through some dental work, as is my hubby. We're getting everything done that we've put off because of money. My son was saying there goes his inheritance. LOL We told him we'd see to it that they each got their 50 cents. The rest was ours. LOL
Now aren't you sorry you asked? DeeTee
> thank you sweetie both you Kate and Dee Tee > [quoted text clipped - 7 lines] >> >> kate Squirrely - 01 Feb 2006 00:42 GMT Never sorry I asked. If I didn't want to hear it I wouldn't ask. ;-)
I sure hope things turn around for you soon and that you get a different doctor that will help you out.
Hope the dental work turns out well for you both.
This way I know how to pray for people if I know what is going on.
You hang in there and take care.

i'm currently in a thumb-spika cast, just waiting for feb.2nd to get here. can't wait to get this thing off and start using that hand again--9 more days! i hope. i hope. next comes the rehab/ot..
my surgeon put me in this cast, to protect my repaired thumb tendon, during my post-op appointment. this thang's so loose now, it almost comes off by itself. that makes me feel like that wrist is no longer 3 inches thicker than normal <one-handed applause--i slap my forehead when i want to hear myself clap.>.
still getting shooting-type twinges and deep aches--- but hey, "it's alive! it's alive!" still taking percocet for that, as needed. think the percocet is not working as well as it had been, but hey, it worked great when i needed it most.
funny thing about the carpal tunnel stuff in my right hand. (it's been happening more intensely and with more frequency, probably from overuse---and that's not funny, nor is it peculiar.) i've just this past week and accidentally discovered that if, when it starts acting up, i turn my head as far as i can to my left and keep it there, i can control the carpal tunnel symptoms and even make them stop. weird that! but, i'll take any relief i can get. that same thing also seems to help with my ulnar and shoulder problems, too--not as completely, but enough to be tolerable.. sooo, i'm thinking . . .<sniffing for smoke> . . . that someting in my neck, and not their corresponding dx's, is causing these issues. will have to address that, when this wrist thing is finito.
ok. enuff boring "me" stuff.

:-) I am soooo glad you thought that was funny. I laughed out loud when it popped into my brain. Are you from Ark.???? I heard that they had a short leg problem where they could only go to town in the hills by walking on one side of the valley and then when they went home they had to walk on the other side of the valley but I do not know if that is true. Kenny could probably set us straight on that. Rest,,,recover Harv

Not bored at all.
I hope the time flies by for your waiting for Feb 2nd.
I sure hope you soon get over those shooting type pains and deep aches.
About the carpal tunnel and your head. I read this in one thing about a week ago and just read it again today in a thing on cervical spinal stenosis. So I have a feeling there is something wrong with your neck causing the carpal tunnel like things to happen.
This is just a part of what I read today. Jeffreys sees a correlation of cervical spondylosis to carpal tunnel syndrome, lateral humeral epicondylitis, cervical stenoiss, and low-back and /or lower extermity osteoarthritis.
You take care and know I am thinking of you sweetie. Have been since you have been down with these surgeries.

It was still in my need to answer file. So sorry if I am doing it again. No brain, no pain, here you know. I wish that were true. LOL ;-)
I sure hope things go well for you with the neck and such. I hope your healing speeds up and you are soon healed completely. I was picking on you and Nann, see other post. I just have this picture of you and Nann standing together, and one of you with your left thumb up and the other one with the right thumb up. It is a nice picture. ;-)
You take care and heal quickly. Thinking of you always.
