I am thinking of going back to obtain a Master's degree.  I have read
little tidbits here and there there is college funding available to
those of us with arthritis.  Is there some truth to this?  Where do I
go to find out more?

D,

I don't know about funding for people with arthritis, but I do know
there are a lot of grants, loans, etc that you might be able to apply
for.

Also, when I was going to school I went to my local Vocational
Rehabilitation and they also helped with books, gas, etc.

Good luck with your future.

As your know, graduate work is seen very differently than undergrad.

My best friend works in disabled student services at a local university.
AFAIK, there's no special money for disabled students, but there are some
"perks".
You'll need to apply for federal, state aid then loans.
Since grad work is not very forgiving, maybe you can talk to a school
counselor first.
At least in CA, there's a deadline for when you can use your undergrad work
to complete your graduate degree.  Otherwise, other classes at the undergrad
level have to be taken, etc, etc.
Good luck
Nicole
