Have any of you read Barry Sear's Anti-Inflammation Zone book? Just
curious if some of you had tried out his high dose pharmaceutical grade
fish oil plan while at the same time using his diet plan to reduce the
amount of inflammation? And have any of you done his SIP test and
fasting insulin tests? Your impression of the results and how it
correlated with your condition? Also - anyone taking Zyflammend as an
anti-inflammatory and if so, how long did it take to start showing some
effects?
Thanks,
Mark

For fish oil. It is probably good for you and will unlikely do any harm.
Against fish oil. I know where in my family tree this comes from. One of
these days I'll post the pictures again of my great grandmother who lived
her entire life on the coast of Newfoundland and I will guarantee you ate
more salmon than you can imagine.
I've got her engagement picture of a pleasant looking young woman and
another of a very much in pain looking old woman. My aunt remembers her as
being quite miserable. So I thank God for modern medicine, but don't pass
up a good plate of fish either.

Many people have reduced their arthritis symptoms by finding their
hidden food sensitivities. Foods like corn (High Fructose Corn Syrup,
Corn Starch, distilled vinegar, etc.), wheat, dairy, etc. can trigger
symptoms days after the food is eaten. Naturopathic doctors (Yellow
Pages) and alternative doctors (www.acam.org) can help you find the
offending food(s). A good book to read about this is, "Dr. Braly's Food
Allergy and Nutrition Revolution". Look for it at your public library.

Oh really? Why didn't I think of that?

And what do most of these replies have to do with my original
questions? I wasn't asking about food triggers or little old ladies in
Newfoundland. :)
Thanks,
Mark

Picky aren't we?
I was merely giving anecdotal evidence that an organic diet and a huge
amount of fish oil in the diet won't do it for everyone.
