I saw my doctorr yesterday and he has changed myad for prozax to
efexor, I havn reluctant to make this change but the oxycontin is a
downer and I was having a very hard time.  He changer the oxy from 2x
day to 3.  This is only the first day and it seem to working, he says
if this does not work he wil change me the pain patch.  Is there much
a\of a difference between oxy and the patch?I have no appetite while I
have been on the oxy and have 23 ppunds.  The weight loss had help
alleviate the back and hip pain.

I know one person who did a LOT better after making this change. Give it
time, and don't be afraid to talk to your doctor about modifying the
dosage up or down to suit your individual response to the medication.

I had a long time in between, so I really can't say. I can't take oxy,
so after years of not having pain medication we tried me on a pain
relief patch when my feet and spine had fractures. It worked okay, but
on about the third day I had massive cramping from my chest down. Every
skeletal muscles went into cramp or severe spasm. It was like
'introduction to tetanus 101', and obviously we had to discontinue the
patch. I have not heard of anyone else having this reaction, and it's
not in the information sheet.

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:
