I woke up about a month ago and both hands and the toes on both feet were
stiff and sore. Never had this before.
I can understand one hand, but not all limbs at the same time.
It has not gone away. Sometimes I cannot even make a fist. But if I flex my
fingers rapidly for 10-15 seconds all the stiffness and pain goes away, but
it will come back within an hour.
Anti-arthritis supplements have no effect.
Does this fit arthritis?
Thanks for any ideas,
Dennis

Yes it does fit arthrits. Unfortunately for you, it definitely fits some of
the more vicious of the 100+ forms of arthritis. Let me be among the first
to recommend you get to a doctor pronto and try to get in to see a
rheumatologist. You will do much better in the long run if you start
treatment for this early.

Please see an RD and find out what's going on. Don't do like I did 25
years and overlook getting the expert. It cost me because I was
uneducated with RA or what ever you may have. Mine at the start felt
like I was always walking on rocks barefooted and progressed from
there. Good luck.

Possibly. Both sides rather than just one side can be the normal behavior.
Thought hands and feet at the same day is a bit much.
But as far as ideas, for crying out loud go see a doctor. You don't know
what is causing this. Treating yourself with no medical diagnosis can be
dangerous. There are other things that can cause the same symptoms.

See your doctor and get a referral to a rheumatologist. Only an RD
(shorthand for rheumatologist) can tell for sure.

Symetrical pain is one of the pointers to Rheumatioid Arthritis. Like
everybody has said, see your doctor and get some blood tests done.
If you do have this disease, its not the end of the world, it is treatable.

I know what you mean. I had similar problems in December. Aches in my
right knee and problems with my right hand. I had problems holding a
screwdriver, I am an electrician. The weather in this part of the UK
does not help wet and cold.
I then decided to take extra supplements. I use USANA as it is best
rated in North America. Will post details below. I mainly use the USANA
Essentials and Procosa II
The USANA Procosa II the daily dossage includes
2,000 mg Glucosamine sulfate.
I had problems a number of years ago with my right knee and that is
when I started to take USANA products on a more regular basis and it
helps. Though I did reduce my intake around October time and I think
that is why I had problems around December.
My knee aches now and again and supplements are no a cure, but I find
it does help my body.
I distribute the USANA products to help pay for my own. If anybody is
interested check info below.
