Well I visited my Orthopedic Surgeon to get the results of the dye
injected MRI's I had two weeks ago.  Bottom line it is bone spurs
brought on by my Ankylosing Spondylitis and not a rotator cuff tear as
I had orignally thought.  I have had pain for years in my shoulders and
it got to the point I couldn't stand it any longer.  The Dr. injected
with me cortisone in each shoulder and i'll follow up in a month for
another consult.  He said athroscopic surgery is inevitable to relieve
the spurs.  What a dreaded disease this AS is but of course I am
cervically fused from 3-6 so I wonder if this has contributed to my
pain and stiffness.  As for another remicade treatment today it has
helped everywhere but the shouders and my mangled and degenerated
lumbar section.  Everywhere else I feel great.  No reactions yet.  48
years old and I feel 78.

TLD,
Some days I know how you feel, for sure. I've had my shoulders injected
(though not for spurs, for bursitis), and they have worked very well
for me.
I'm glad that the Remicade seems to be working for you. There, at
least, is some good news!
Please keep us update, and good luck,
Char
