Hi Hiker,,,, I think MaryZ is off to NM on vacation and will not be able to
answer you about how well Rem. has worked for her. Others might,,,, I was
using is for 5-7 months and it controlled my RA just fine. It is one of
the more expensive DMARDs and it is one of the strongest. Given to you by
an infusion nurse and it takes about 2-3 hours. Others can tell you more
than I.
Harv
Ps,,,, it does sound like you need a DMARD and good luck getting your
insurance and RD that you need it.

The big question, for me, is whether I can tolerate it - isn't that always
the way???
I am having continuing problems with a "hot" tongue, sore, red, dry, etc.,
etc. I'm using Biotene mouth wash and a biotene oral balance gel - they
help but don't cure. Had to stop the relafin which helped hands, etc.,
because of the tongue and now it's back.... Couldn't do the Doxycycline due
to thrush -
Thank you for your response. I appreciate you and this group - wonderful,
caring people.
MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY AND PAIN FREE NEW YEAR,
Hiker
