Looks like I'll probably go home tomorrow. ID hasn't decided yet on
oral or IV for home meds but will in the morning. Plus tomorrw was my
appt for IVIG and they are going to give that to me here. So hopefully
there won't be an ordering problem with that and I can save myself the
trip downtown next Monday. It should help me fight this infection too I
would think.
The leg is much better and the ID said he didn't see any reason why I
couldn't go on my cruise! YEAH! He said he would keep me on oral abx
while I'm gone and talk to me before I go. I'm feeling very tired &
weak but maybe that's because everytime I fall asleep someone wakes me
up for blood pressure, blood sugars, shots, iv's or a dr visit. Never
fails. I think laying in bed for 5 days will make tired too. Last
night when I walked down here which was from one end of the hall to the
other end and back I was just exhausted! Who knew this was taking so
much out of me when I was just laying in bed. So I've got two weeks to
build my strength back up so I can go to the ruins at Tulum! It's only
a four hour turu for the "gentle adventurer" in otherwards, for whimps
like me. My rheumy went on it last year and told me she thought I could
make it fine except for the 48 steps to the top of the one temple.
Ok - gonna head back to bed! Thanks to everyone for all the prayers
and well wishes. This is so cool to still be able to log on and connect
with ASA. Cyberhugs - DianeW
