Hi there
My mum had two total knee joint replacements which were both very
successful and over the past few months she was very mobile and
experiencing a new lease of life ... The other day she experienced a
'crunching' feeling in her right knee and was absolutely devastated and
I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this and had any
advice i.e does it pass is it normal or was it a sign that it had gone
wrong??
Thanks in advance!!

She needs to see her surgeon right away. Noone here knows exactly what
type of crunching her knee is making. The only things we can do is
guess. She needs medical attention.

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:

I don't know about the "crunching", but occasionally I can hear my knee
replacement "click". If she gets unusual pain, then it needs to be checked
out. Nanny
