Just checking in briefly. My arthritis continues to go from bad to worse. I can no longer get out of bed without a LOT of help. And can stand to be out of bed, for no more than 2 hrs on my very best days. Myron takes good care of me. But there is a limit to how much he can do. And he is having health issues of his own. He has OA in his knees and will need new knees soon. Plus he has hypertension that is out of control, and is getting some related health issue (he has some abnormal kidney fuction they are looking at). Thanks for the holiday cards some have been sending, with S Jo leading the charge as usual. myron and I can use some prayers, if any of you would like to storm heaven on our behalf. Can anyone tell me what has become of Sarah L and Krissy Jo? Please respond via e mail as well as the group. I can no longer read each and every post and dont want to miss any. We must battle it everyday with all that modern medicine can do for us or what is taking place with Char will happen much sooner,,, much faster. We make choices in this life and live with the results. Miss you too Char. Wish there was something I could do to make you feel better. KJ had surgery on her ankle yesterday. Haven't heard anything yet, but I'm thinking she'll be popping in while she's recovering. Sarah's around and I'm sure she's hoping next year goes better than this one has. I think AOL dropping the newsgroups has a lot to do with many of the people that don't stop in as often as they use to. I'm been using Google and find myself holding my breath and crossing my fingers when I click the "post" button, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Nothing like the internet to make ya feel incompetent. Prayers will continue that you find some relief and start to feel better. I think a roll call is a wonderful idea.
