I know I'll always remember December the 7th from now on, I'm having the
foot surgery I mentioned a while
back in the morning.  We have to be in Wichita by 7AM and should be back
by tomorrow night.  I'm sure the
operation will go without a hitch but they're forecasting sub-zero temps
and several inches of snow.  So keep
the weather in your prayers too.  A good friend is going along to help
Patty with getting me down and back.
I'll let everyone know how it went as soon as I can.

Prayers coming your way for good things to happen with the foot. Also
healing vibes being sent too.

I am also praying for KJ for tomorrow for her ankle surgery.

Yes Cooly, you're in my prayers for a successful surgery, quick
recovery, and safe trip!

Ouch!!!!  We're back, everything went well with the surgery.  They had
some problems
getting the circulation back in one of the hammered toes but the color
is good now. Thanks
to all of you for your prayers, thanks to our good friend Mark, we
couldn't have got through the
snow without his help.  Most of all thanks to my wife Patty, she is
being the best nurse in the
world.  Although she didn't do well when the right foot started bleeding
in the recovery room.  She
had to take a little break on that one.

Cooly, glad you're home and doing well.  Pray it continues.  Can't blame
your wife; it's always worse when someone who is hurting is one of your own!

Glad things went well. I also am with you and say thanks to Mark and your
wife Patty. Glad they were there to help you out. You take care and rest and
heal quickly.

I hope the surgery went well Cooly and that your foot will be working better
again soon!

The weather here let me drive over to shop in Gaylord today with no trouble
except being almost blinded by the sun even with my sunglasses on!  (well,
that and our van deciding it wanted a new battery for the winter!)  I hope
the weather was equally kind to you!

The weather in Kansas is seldom that cooperative Nann.  We drove down
and back in blowing snow and the temp was -6 when we left.  But the
surgery did go well and I'm already cutting down on the percocet.  A
neighbor who is a surgical nurse came over today  and my wife had her
take a look.  She said everything looked good which helps put my mind at
ease.
Thanks,
Cooly

yuck!  we usually get one nice day per week and I was lucky it happened ont
he day I wanted to go shopping.  Heard on the news last night that we've
already had 1/3 of the total snowfall of last year.

Already cutting down on the percocet?!?!? That does indeed sound good.  Lay
low and work at healing well.  heehee, and take some pictures to send KJ!

Cooly,

Glad to hear your surgery went well and that you are now home and
recovering.   Praying that the recovery process is quicker and less
painful than you had imagined and praying that the recovery goes without
any complications!!

Donna G

PS.....KJ is going to love her gift of toe/foot pictures from you!
ROFL!!!
